The Users page can be accessed via the navigation bar on the left side. Use this page to access, edit, or delete user information or location access. to search for a user, type the users name in the search name box. You can also reverse the A to Z listing.

  1. Add a user: + New User opens a pop up window. Input the name, email, and phone number and Save Changes.
  2. When you add a new user, you still must grant them access to view information on AEDs, trained responders, or classes. Choose a location from the drop down menu in the location access box on the lower right. Grant Access. The location you have chosen will appear in the location access box.

Make Changes to a User

The user profile box displays profile information, log-in information, status, and user access capabilities. A user with AED coordinator access can view and edit AED information. A user with trained responder access only will be able to view only the AED information.

  1. Invite: All users other than the program coordinator, are invited into the system through another user. New users have 30 days to access the system through the invitation. Use Invite for anyone whose has not logged in for the first time and whose invitation has expired. Click on the user's name from the list on the left and Invite.
  2. Delete: To delete user information, click on the user’s name from the list on the left. The user’s current information will appear in a box on the right. Delete will permanently delete the user from the system.
  3. Edit: To edit user information click on the user’s name from the list on the left. The user’s current information will appear in a box on the right. Edit opens a pop-up window. Make changes and Save.
  4. Add a Trained Responder: click on the user’s name from the list on the left. The user’s current information will appear in a box on the right. + Trained Responder Input the information and Save.
FAST FACT 1: When you delete a user from the user page, this will permanently delete the user from the organization. To make a user inactive, remove the user's access to all locations. Top of Page

Location Access


Location Access

Location Access is used to grant access to AEDs for users who are AED coordinators. When a user is a trained responder, location access will move the trained responder between locations. Trained responders cannot be given access to AEDs.

  1. Remove Access: To remove a user’s access to a location, click on the user’s name from the list on the left. In the location access box on the lower right, Remove Access, will delete the user’s ability to view AED information but does not delete the user from the system.
  2. Grant Access: To grant a user access to a location, click on the user’s name on the left. Choose a location from the drop down menu in the location access box on the lower right. Grant Access. The location you have chosen will appear in the location access box.
  3. View Location button will take you to the locations page.
